ASTL publishes guidance on COVID-19

The Association of Short Term Lenders (ASTL) has published its guidance on COVID-19 in an effort to assure its members.
The association has emphasised the importance of the well-being of its staff, members and associates and has said it is closely watching governmental warnings on the virus.
The ASTL has deferred its quarterly meeting until a later date following the news that many large public events have been postponed.
Despite this the ASTL have claimed that it is still business as usual but warned in their guidance statement that should they need to close their offices, staff can work from home.
It continues: "There should be little or no impact on our ability to respond to business telephone or social media contact and therefore we will retain the ability to provide you with our full and comprehensive service.
"Where appropriate, our phone lines will be diverted as required."

The statement concludes with a promise of an update if matters change.

It says: "In the meantime, thank you for your continued support and we wish everyone well during this unsettling period".
