Barratt and David Wilson selects 2021 charity
Barratt and David Wilson Homes South Midlands has selected Northamptonshire Mind as its charity of the year for the second year in a row.
As part of the selection, the developer will continue to rise money for the charity, having raised £3,000 so far.
Northamptonshire Mind is committed to delivering high quality and appropriate services for people who experience mental ill health, promoting recovery, independence and integration at all times.
It aims to raise awareness of mental health, to challenge the stigma associated with mental illness and to promote and support positive mental health.
The organisation provides, crisis cafes, offering a listening ear in times of need, support into employment, one-to-one support and educational courses helping people understand issues including anxiety, depression and anger management.
Sarah Hillier, chief executive at Northamptonshire Mind, said: “It has been a challenging year for communities, and we have remained committed to providing support to those who need it.
“The ongoing pledge from Barratt and David Wilson Homes for 2021, is crucial in allowing us to continue to help and improve the mental well-being of so many people, who need us during these uncertain times and beyond.”
