First 4 Bridging hires head of sales and marketing

First 4 Bridging has appointed Michelle Douglas as head of sales and marketing.

Douglas will be in charge of structuring the sales team and recruitment and she will report to First 4 Bridging director, Donna Wells.

She joins from Metro Bank where she was a mortgage consultant. Previously she was a business development manager, residential lettings manager and a director of a variety of estate and lettings agencies.

Jonathan Caplan, director of First 4 Bridging, said: “We are always looking for quality people who have the skills and experience to make a major difference to our business, and that of the brokers and introducers who use us.

“Michelle certainly fits this category and comes to us with a huge range of experience across a variety of mortgage and estate/lettings agency-related businesses.

“Michelle will oversee our sales and marketing teams and has already made her mark by putting a new structure in place that will benefit those working here, and those placing their clients and cases with First 4 Bridging.

Douglas will also lead First 4 Bridging’s marketing output, including website and email communications to brokers and introducers.

Campaigns will focus on broker/introducer education around the potential solution that bridging and development finance can offer clients.

New communications from First 4 Bridging will include case study information, event news, a monthly newsletter, criteria updates and exclusives.

Douglas said: “I am very pleased to have joined First 4 Bridging and to be part of a team that has big plans for the future.

“As the business grows I will look to continually improve and streamline processes and enhance knowledge both with our brokers and internally.

“My aim is for us to provide as speedy, professional, seamless and consistent a service as possible.
