Hampshire Trust Bank continues expansion

Hampshire Trust Bank has moved into custom designed headquarters in the City of London.

Based at Bishopsgate, the new office provides room for expansion and at 21,000ft² is significantly larger than the bank’s previous headquarters.

Mark Sismey-Durrant, chief executive at Hampshire Trust Bank, said: “This is an exciting day for the bank.

“We have come a long way since our relaunch in 2014 and moving into our new headquarters will enable us to take the next step in our journey and continue on our strong growth trajectory.”

Hampshire Trust Bank has seen a number key appointments of late including a new chief operating officer and managing director of asset finance.

Sismey-Durrant added: “We are currently financing the construction of more than 1,500 residential units for UK housebuilders and the vehicles and equipment for over 4,200 small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

“We are in a strong position to fuel future growth and deepen and broaden the financial solutions we provide to UK SMEs in our chosen markets.”

This relocation comes after the bank transitioned into profit a year ago reporting significant growth in its most recent results announcement.
