MCI Mortgage Club adds Vida Homeloans to its panel

MCI Mortgage Club has added specialist mortgage lender Vida Homeloans to its panel.

The club was set up in October 2014 as a subsidiary to the eKeeper group of companies that provides a CRM system to intermediaries and corporate customers. MCI Club’s members will have access to Vida’s residential and buy-to-let products.

Louisa Sedgwick, director of sales, mortgages at Vida Homeloans, said: “We are thrilled to be working in close collaboration with MCI Club to offer its members a range of specialist residential and buy-to-let mortgage solutions targeted at borrowers who are sometimes overlooked.

“This includes the self-employed, and those with impaired and improving credit profiles.

“We look forward to working with MCI club as Vida continues to grow and looks for ways to demonstrate its commitment to delivering the best possible solutions for intermediaries and their customers.”

Phil Whitehouse, head of MCI Mortgage Club, added: “I am delighted to be working with the Vida Homeloans team, as they join our growing panel of 30 lenders.

“As membership of MCI Mortgage Club grows to in excess of 600 brokers, it is important that we have a wide panel that appeals to our increasing broker support.

“Vida offers a range of residential and buy-to-let products that will help our members to place cases on behalf of customers who may have somewhat unusual circumstances and may not qualify with traditional high street lenders.

“I am convinced that Vida will be prove to be a very popular lender with our membership and look forward to working with their well respected and very experienced team.”

This follows Vida’s overhaul of its product range, the biggest change since launching into the market in October 2016. The lender introduced a number of major criteria improvements to its residential and buy-to-let product ranges, as well as pricing reductions and service enhancements.
