RLA hires chief executive

The Residential Landlords Association has hired Andrew Dixon (pictured) as chief executive.

Dixon has worked for Tesco, Boots and Procter & Gamble. He was responsible for leading the Tesco Clubcard and Boots Advantage Card loyalty and insight programmes.

Since November 2017 he has been interim chief operating officer of Uchumi Supermarkets PLC in Kenya.

Dixon said: “I believe the RLA has developed a great service for its members and this is reflected in the doubling of its membership over the last five years.

“I look forward to bringing some additional experience to the team which I hope will extend the offer and further grow the membership.”

Alan Ward, chairman of the RLA, said: “Andrew brings a wealth of experience in gaining and retaining customers and we look forward to him applying this to the RLA.

“It is more important than ever that private landlords have support to provide high standard accommodation and Andrew will ensure that membership of the RLA provides this to more landlords.”
