TAB appoints BDM and technical director

TAB has recruited Jamie Napier-Bell as business development manager (BDM), and added Mark Gillis as technical director.

Napier-Bell brings experience within the lending and real estate markets from his time at Astute Capital, and will be assisting TAB’s accelerated growth.

Gillis will oversee another new team member, Kevin Pinto, who joins as senior software engineer; both are tasked with the digital evolution of TAB.

Nick Russell, sales director at TAB, said: “This is an extremely exciting phase in our development as a lender.

“We have continued to lend throughout the pandemic, which has stood us in good stead for the foreseeable future.

“We have ambitious growth plans for the business and see Jamie’s appointment as a strong indicator to the market that we are keen to deliver solutions to more brokers and partners as we cement ourselves within the bridging space.”

Napier-Bell said: “I am really excited to be joining TAB.

“The team is extremely experienced and the commercial approach they take to lending really resonated with me that this is an exciting place to work.

“We have real scope to grow the loan book and I am delighted to be a part of that. I look forward to speaking with all of you in the near future.”

Gillis said: “We are very excited to be building TAB Tech, the innovation supporting the soon to be launched platform which enables you to invest in our great range of products.

“Kevin is a very experienced programmer who is building a secure and robust platform to manage our investments.

Pinto added: “I am delighted to be part of this exciting team at TAB.

“I have embarked on a journey of improving all interactions for the staff, customers and partners of the firm.

“Where possible we will automate and streamline processes, creating a vastly improved user experience.

“You can expect to see the platform go live before the end of 2020.

“TAB has made me feel extremely welcome and I am very excited about what the future holds for me at this fantastic firm.”
