Vantage gets private equity investment

Vantage Finance has received investment from private equity firm Chiltern Capital.

Chiltern Capital has a “significant minority stake” in Vantage, which specialises on bridging, secured loans and commercial mortgages.

The private equity firm will work with Vantage to build out its management structure and further develop its distribution channels in the intermediary market.

Lucy Hodge (pictured), managing director of Vantage Finance, said: “This is a hugely important moment for Vantage Finance, and testament to how far the business has come since our launch in 2004. The investment will allow us to take our growth and expansion even further, continuing to offer the intermediary market the rigorous approach to quality and service delivery for which Vantage Finance has become known.

“I would like to thank every one of our intermediaries and lender partners for their commitment and loyalty so far, and share our excitement in the journey that lies ahead. As we grow, our focus will always be on providing the best possible offering and achieving good customer outcomes for every partner that we work with”

Chiltern Capital invests between £1m and £10 in businesses and has been active for 15 years.

Alex Sheffield, partner at Chiltern Capital, said: “We are delighted to be partnering with the team at Vantage Finance.

“This is characteristic of a Chiltern investment, providing strategic support and backing to an ambitious MD of a growing business in a sector with positive market dynamics.”
