Welsh Housing Minister to attend RLA conference

The Welsh Housing Minister Julie James AM will address landlords, agents and property professionals at the Residential Landlord Association’s (RLA) Future Renting Wales conference next month.

The third annual conference in Cardiff will be held on November 28 to offer landlords an insight into the future of the private rented sector in Wales.

Douglas Haig, vice-chair and director for Wales at the RLA, said: “Hundreds of landlords have attended our Future Renting Conferences in Wales to pick up valuable insights into the market and the impact of new legislation.

“We are delighted to welcome Julie James AM as our keynote speaker at this year’s event, which has a packed agenda offering everything the Welsh landlord needs to know, whether they have one property or a hundred.”

Expert speakers will address delegates on issues including Rent Smart Wales, possession reform, the Wales fee ban and Welsh market insights.

Property expert Kate Faulkner is set to discuss the private sector market, disruptive technologies and Brexit at the event.
